Meet Our Staff
Travis, a native of Alleghany County, completed undergraduate studies at Bridgewater College and acquired his clinical doctorate at Methodist University. He has received additional certifications in dry needling and in spinal manipulation since graduating. Travis specializes in treating orthopedic conditions, but enjoys treating conditions affecting any body system and the challenge of treating complex conditions. In his spare time Travis enjoys spending time with his family of 3, weight lifting, playing golf, and getting outdoors to hike, kayak, and mountain bike.
Jake is our newest physical therapist, completing his clinical doctorate at Radford University in the Spring of 2022. On the weekends, you can find Jake on a slowpitch softball field, or spending time with friends watching his undergraduate alma mater, JMU, on the gridiron. Jake has enjoyed his time with Daleville PT thus far mainly due to the variety of ages, activity levels, and pathologies seen in the clinic.
Ashley Secrest is a kind, and excited young Physical Therapist Assistant that graduated from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in May 2018. Ashley is committed to the health and well-being of all her patients and enjoys working closely with them to achieve their goals. During Ashley’s time at Jefferson she was placed here, at Botetourt Physical Therapy, for a clinical rotation almost a year before she graduated. Ashley found her home here as a technician during her schooling and now, as a PTA. “I have always felt like I was a part of the family here at BPT, and I want our patient’s to feel that way too… like we have their best interest at heart, and we do.”
