West Virginia Physical Therapy (WVPT) is committed to providing the Greenbrier Valley with the highest quality, comprehensive rehabilitation services possible. Meet Our Staff
Pixote, a native of Monroe County, has a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University, class of 2007. Prior to moving back to West Virginia, Pixote worked in an out-patient clinic in Tennessee. She joined Greenbrier Valley Physical Therapy in 2009 and moved to West Virginia Physical Therapy in May 2011 as clinic manager. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2006. Pixote enjoys working with a wide array of patients from young children to the young at heart. She treats orthopedic conditions, post-surgical conditions, neurological conditions, spinal pain, chronic pain, pediatrics, oncology patients, and conditions that limit one's functional mobility. Pixote, her husband, Sam, and their children reside in Lewisburg where they are active in the community and their church.
Susan M. Leatherman is a native of Lewisburg, WV. She graduated with honors from West Virginia University’s Physical Therapy program in 2002, receiving her Master’s degree, and was happy to be moving home to practice. In the past two years she has continued her education, specializing in Vestibular Rehabilitation, taking courses in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Pittsburg. She most recently successfully completed an advanced course at Emory University in Atlanta and was deemed competent in diagnosing and treating Vestibular Disorders by the American Physical Therapy Association. She is excited to see how her education is helping her to resolve vertigo and balance disorders in her patients. She and her husband, Rick, have two daughters who are 12 and 4 and one son who is 7. She enjoys singing in the Greenbrier Valley Choral, gardening, cooking, home improvement projects, and being an active member of her church.
Nikki Weikle is a 2010 graduate from Mountain State University in the physical therapist assistant program. She has been working for GVPT since 2010. Nikki is energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to her patients in outpatient physical therapy. She lives in Union, WV, with her husband, Josh, and their two children. Nikki enjoys gardening, crafting, traveling, and reading.
Geri, a native of Philadelphia, PA, moved to Lewisburg with her husband, Christian, and daughters, Isabelle and Stephanie in 2003. In 2016, she received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from New River Community & Technical College at which time Geri joined our team at Greenbrier Valley Physical Therapy. As a family they enjoy traveling, skiing and spending time together. You may recognize Geri in the community as she is also a Yoga and Fitness instructor.
